Mr Sloss is well into motoring culture. Apparently he owns among other vehicles a McLaren P1, a Ferrari LaFerrari and a bright yellow 599XX, which he bought at a fund rising auction in the wake of the Emilia earthquake disaster in 2012.
Racewife, Christine is no different from him when it comes to automobiles and that’s why Sloss arranged for a few laps around Fiorano in their 599XX to celebrate her birthday or at least that’s what his spouse thought, as Benjamin surprized her with a mesmerizing Ferrari FXX-K.
The FXX K is sold out but for those lucky few invited to purchase one it came with a price tag of 2.5 million euros (approximately $2.8 million). The couple recently headed to Maranello to take delivery of their example at the factory and spend some time testing it out on Ferrari’s Fiorano test track.
Sporting a combined output of 1015 PS produced by a V12 6.3litre and an electric motor. But apparently, that isn’t enough to scare the missus, who, according to Ferrari, killed it around the track.
Of course, the FXX K is a much more extreme car than the LaFerrari on which it’s based. The track only model, part of Ferrari’s XX rolling laboratory fleet. There’s also loads more downforce compared to the road car, plus slick tires and recalibration of the electronic systems such as the differential, traction control and SSC Side Slip Angle Control feature.
