At a Manhattan event ahead of this week's NY International Auto Show, Honda just revealed its new Red Bull Global Rallycross racer, based on the upcoming 10th generation Civic coupe.
Honda's Civic Global Rallycross racer packs more than 600 turbocharged horsepower and promises a 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds through, assumedly, an all wheel drive system that probably won't make it to production in any form. It will be driven by RedBull GRC 2014 champion Wiman Joni and 2015 second place finisher Eriksson Sebastian.
The 2016 Honda Global Rallycross Civic will make its racing debut on 21 and 22 May at a GRC double header at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix, Arizona. Going up against the likes of Ken Block's GRC Ford Focus RS, this season of GRC should involve some exciting racing.
