RedBull is know for using automobiles in some of the coolest stunts caught on film, they are definitely a favorite of yours truly. High energy like they drinks, Red Bull goes for broke and usually adds a little flair to their projects. So when they were gunning for a world record jump, they had to make it interesting by doing it over a ghost town.
Menzies Bryce, an off-road truck racer, actually crashed during training, which made Red Bull change their minds about airing the stunt live as originally planned. A heavily modified Pro2 truck flew an astonishing 379.4 feet over the ghost town in San Diego, CA during one of the final training runs. This record was previously held by Tanner Foust who set it five years ago but Menzies beat it by about 50ft.
