The 2013 SEMA Show is coming up quick, and this year, we’re not holding anything back with the builds we’re bringing out to Las Vegas. Last night at our pre-SEMA press event, we officially took the wraps off of the cars that we’ll be featuring in the Scion booth. Now, we’re bringing you a first look at what you can expect to see from us at the show.

Scion Tuners Build

Simpli-tC by Young Tea

The final Tuner Challenge build comes straight out of Young Tea’s garage in Southern California. The Simpli-tC builds on what the 2014 Scion tC has already established by optimizing the car’s body work and drive capability for a clean look with even more performance.

To that end, the exterior of the Simpli-tC features custom molded fender flares that were custom built to flow with tC’s existing character lines. To augment it even further, the car features a lip kit from MV Designz, as well as custom red-out tail lights that give the car a striking appearance from behind. The body is also coated in a layer of Lite Teal Pearl Paint from House of Kolors, a color that appears even more bold in person.

An AirRex Air Suspension system gives the build the proper ride height for the show or the street, while a Garrett T3 turbo provides a substantial power boost. A Dezod down pipe and dump tube keeps the car breathing easy, routing exhaust gasses out through quad exhaust tips from ARK Performance. Rounding out the interior are seats and harnesses by Sparco.

GReddy Racing Scion FR-S Prototype

The GReddy Racing Scion FR-S Prototype takes the Scion FR-S and reimagines what the platform is capable of with a tuning and suspension setup that’s built from the ground up for maximum performance. Though it’s only a prototype for the time being, the car’s been overhauled with a Toyota built 2JZ-GTE engine outfitted with a GReddy turbo paired to a G-Force GSR 4-speed transmission. Riding on Rays Gram Lights 57XX wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus R-S3 tires, the lightweight chassis pushes out an estimated 750 horsepower and 730 lb ft. of torque. Takata race harnesses strap in occupants, while the Rocket Bunny V.2 kit gives the car a wide, aggressive stance.

Bulletproof FR-S Concept One

The Bulletproof FR-S Concept One redefines the lightweight Scion FR-S as what it could potentially be as a super car. While maintaining the inherent light weight and balance of the FR-S, Bulletproof automotive set out to give the car a massive boost in power, while outfitting the interior with an array of exotic materials.

Under the hood, the Bullerproof FR-S is powered by a Powerhouse Amuse Turbo Kit with a Borg Warner turbo, that exhales through a titanium downpipe, front pipe, and full exhaust system, also from Powerhouse Amuse. An Ecutek Race Rom has the car tuned for E85 as well as 91 Octane, while the internals have been strengthened by way of upgraded pistons, rods, and ACL bearings.

Interior materials include a full alcantara conversion colored in a vibrant shade of red, as well as a custom steering wheel, carbon fiber materials, and race seats from Recaro. An 8 point roll cage compliments front and rear strut tower bars, all by Cusco, while an Original Runduce Racing Su
