This is a Mazda RX7 with a triple rotor engine. It's rather loud and judging by the reaction at the drag strip, it's far louder than anyone around it expected.
The car apparently sounds like gunshots in person, which explains why these people reacted the way they did at the track.It looks like it's firing something out of the exhausts every time it hits the rev limiter. It's insane.
People weren't expecting a 3 rotor RX-7 to launch like that.
